Feeding Habits Fresh spinach, zucchini, peas and lettuce. Will also feed upon plants and algae. Frozen blood worms, brine shrimp, glass worms, plankton and beef heart. Live fish, brine shrimp, glass worms, tubifex worms and blood worms. Freeze dried, flake and pelleted foods also accepted.

Compatibility Peaceful and timid fish that like to school with their own kind and other dwarf gourami varieties.

Habitat India: Densely decorate with live plants, rocks and driftwood. Live plants will be nibbled at by the fish, but will not be destroyed.

Breeding The male has the most body colors and the female's are silver in appearance. Male builds a bubble nest where they will place up to 600 fertilized eggs.

Additional Comments The male can shoot water through his mouth and out of the aquarium, much like a Archer Fish. They are very sensitive to poor water conditions.
