Feeding Habits Prefers fresh spinach, zucchini, peas, lettuce and driftwood. Will accept algae wafers and tablets.

Compatibility Peaceful with other fish, but intolerant of their own kind.

Habitat Southern Brazil: Decorate heavily with live plants, driftwood and rocks. Breeding Difference between male and female unknown. Breeding not successful in the aquarium.

Additional Comments Strong current required to provide high levels of dissolved oxygen. Driftwood is essential to provide roughage in their diet.
