• This breed originated in The Scottish Highlands, UK

Ancestors of the breed are the Celtic Pony, Galloway, Arabian, and Clydesdale

• The pony is used for riding and trekking

• Colours for this pony are dun, ranging from golden-blue to silver-blue with dorsal stripe; sometimes black, gray-black, or brown

• They stand at around 14.s hands high

• They have an alert, kindly expression with a wide forehead and nostils

• The neck is strong, as is the back which is usually marked by a dorsal eel stripe

• The pony has a solid, deep body and short, strong lefs with good hooves that are free from disease

• A docile, intelligent, sensitive and trusting pony

• Warm blooded
