• Also known as the Kladrubský (Czech) or Kladruber (German) • The Kladruby originated in the Czech Republic • The name is from the founding stud of Rudolf II • This horse was developed from Spanish and Italian horses during the 15th-16th century • The modern breed is found in two colors black and white. The white animals are still bred at the Kladruby stud • It is currently used for sport driving •There are only 90 remaining mares
