AMERICAN INDIAN DOG
An American dog thought to be extinct at turn of century. Now making a comeback,thanks
to the eforts of breeders in rural Califonia. these dogs may have been the
first domesticated breed in North America. As far back as 30.000 years.
The dogs which belong to the Spitz family are lightly built with medium
length hair, bushy tail and longish pricked ears Their coloring may be Black,
Cream, Golden, Red, Grey, Fawn, or Silver. Eye color ranges from Yellow
to amber. Some light colored dogs Thought to be descendants from the Sacred
dog have blue eyes. |
