			The CAO is classified as an ORIGINAL MOLOSSER Breed of MASTIFF TYPE They are a STRONG, AGILE LARGE DOG that can handle extreme variances in temperature be it the scorching heat of the desert or the winters known to Siberia. High Intelligence and Stubbornness goes hand and hand with this breed. They are one of very few dog breeds in the world who have Excessive Dewlap which assists them in their own protection against predators. There are only two Non DROOLING Mastiff Dogs in the World. The CAO being one, the other a Cane Corso. CAO'S have a LOW maintenance coat, consisting of a soft under layer of fur and a top layer of guard hair. At the first signs of spring the CAO promptly blow out their undercoat. They come in a variety of colors ranging from Black, White, Brown, Red, Tan, Piebald, Speckled, and Brindled. Due to the vast area in which the CAO originates from you will see variances in type.
