Foreign Shorthairs are very similar in temperament as the Siamese, they are lively, affectionate pets.

There are many varieties, which include black, white, blue, red, cream, silver, lilac, chestnut, black and cinnamon. Their fur is short and very fine. The tail is long and thin and the long, elegant legs are higher at the back than the forelegs.

Their eyes are usually green, depending on the variety and are almond-shaped and slanted. They have large, pointed ears.
