The Havana is an extremely clever, bright cat who is also loving and lively. The original name for the Havana is Chestnut Brown Foreign Hair, which also describes the colour of this breeds fur.
Havana Brown's are sleek brown cats with coats as smooth as glass. Their eyes are bright green. Havana kittens sometimes have white hairs mixed into their brown coats. This is normal and the white will disappear as the kittens mature. Havanas are long-legged and swift. They have large ears that look transparent. Their eyes are oval and close to their noses.
