The Siamese is the most extrovert of all domestic cats. It's purr is almost impossible to ignore as it is so loud. It also a very bright, clever cat, who becomes extremely loyal and devoted to its owner, sometimes it is so devoted that it does not appreciate any other pets around!

Siamese are pointed cats that come in seal (dark brown), chocolate (milk chocolate) blue (bluish gray), and lilac (pinkish gray). Siamese can also come in more rare colors, such as tortie points, tabby points and red-and-cream points. However, cats in these colors are referred to as Colorpoint Shorthairs rather than Siamese. Siamese come in three types: the Traditional, the Classic, and the Modern. Both the Traditional and Classic Siamese have thick, plush coats. The Modern Siamese has a coat that lies tight against its body. The Traditional Siamese are heavily built with small ears and rounded heads. The Classic Siamese are more elongated in head, body, and legs, yet they're still strong and sturdy. The Modern Siamese is extremely slender and has a long narrow head and huge flared ears. All Siamese kittens are born white, and get their points between two and twelve weeks. All Siamese darken with age. Siamese have beautiful blue eyes which are oriental in shape.
