Singapura is the Malaysian name for the island of Singapore - where this cat originated. This cat is actually the World's smallest cat, but certainly it is not frail. Malesrarely weigh more than six pounds. They have huge expressive eyes, large ears and tiny paws. Singapuras have fine, silky coats that lie close to their bodies. These cats come in only one color: ivory with brown ticking, called agouti. Hair color alternates so that every other hair is a different color, and each hair is brown at the tip. Their ears are large and pointed and their large eyes are almond-shaped and either hazel, green or yellow. The Singapura has a short, round nose. They are naturally an extremely friendly cat and are very curious, which makes them high-risk outdoor cats - however they do make easy care indoor pets. Breeders
