Cassius
is a sweet-natured, patient dog, who at 10 months is full
of energy and affection. A medium-sized brown and white jack
Russell cross, he has the softest fur, likes lots of attention
and is very responsive. In the pic he's showing his fatherly
side with a boisterous pup who came to The Mayhew. He has
also formed a very close bond with Shebie, who came to us
from doggy death row in Wales. His ideal home would be one
without young children or cats.

Shebie
is a year old Welsh Spaniel cross who bears a striking resemblance
to Cassius, apart from her rockstar eyes -one is turquoise
and the other brown! Shebie's our longest-residing canine,
no doubt due to her endless energy. She does not like children
or cats, is dominant and will need owners who'll give her
lots of training and time. A very intelligent dog.

Lara
is our second longest-staying resident, an 11-month old German
shepherd-Doberman cross who's slim and nervous, and was brought
in from Harmsworth hospital. She's lively and affectionate
but can be stubborn, and will try to be dominant with others
dogs. Looks like one of the Egyptian hounds of Ancient times,
and would benefit from an experienced owner.
