Twinkle is a 5 year old Terrier cross who originally come in as a stray. He was home but unfortunately brought back because he did get on with the owners disabled daughter. He has been kennelled with other dogs but will pick and choose who he likes. He has a lovely nature, is very friendly and loves to be fussed.

Roger is a 4 year old Jack Russell cross. His last owners bought him back because they said he was too noisy at night! Roger is well natured and loves to play. He is not the ideal dog to have with young children but he will get on okay with teenagers. He doesn't seem to like cats and we are not sure about other dogs.
Minty is a 4 year old Golden Labrador cross, she came in with another dog but they did not kennel well together. Their original owner had a baby and unfortunately did not have time for the dogs. Minty is not good with cats but is okay with children. Minty has a lovely nature and is very playful and energetic.

Pippin is a 2 year old, female Terrier cross who initially came in as a stray but has been with us since the November 2000. She is a lovely little dog and is very energetic. Pippin is good with other dogs but not cats. Older children over 12 years are okay.

Benny is a 2 year old, male Terrier cross. He initially came in as a stray and was adopted by a member of staff. Family problems meant that she had to give him up and therefore he is unfortunately back at the sanctuary. He can be dominant and needs a home where there are no young children or cats. He would benefit from someone who has had Terriers before.
Patsy is a 1 year old, Terrier cross. She came in as a stray. She is very friendly and playful but possibly noisy if left in a home for long periods of time on her own. We are not sure how she reacts to other dogs, cats or children.

Oliver is a 9-10 year old Labrador cross. Oliver suffers from separation anxiety and needs to be home with someone or something all day. He is good with other dogs, cats and kids.
Max is a 6 year old cross breed. He was brought in because his owner could not cope with him. He has a lovely nature and is very friendly and lively. He has suffered with a worm infestation, which has now left him on a special diet in order for him to digest food.
This is Roger, a Lab/Staffi cross. He is 3-4 years old. Roger initially came in as a stray, so his history is unknown. He definately does not like dogs or children but he does love adults. He is very playful and loves toys.

Gonzo is a 5 year old brindle Staffie, he was originally brought in as a stray but his owner on the second occasion didn't want him back. He does like to escape, which is why when we home him, his owners brought him back. They could not cope with his antics. We are not sure how he will get on with other dogs but he is okay with children. He is very affectionate and loving.
Jack is a 1 year old Collie cross who came in because he was tied up in a yard all day, every day. The family loved him but realised that it was no quality of life for him. He is very friendly and has a lovely nature but would benefit by having an active home which would keep him occupied.
Taz is a 4 year old Collie cross, he came in to the sanctuary because of family and behavioural problems. He can sometimes be unpredictable and should not be homed with children. Taz would benefit from a home where he has company for most of the time, as if he is left alone his problems will increase.
